Will our horseback ride be private, or part of a group?
All of the rides that E&H offers are private, ensuring a completely personalized experience. This means the ride will be tailored to your comfort level and interests. Whether it's a one-on-one with your guide or an intimate experience with friends and family, your horseback trail ride or cattle drive will be exclusively yours.
How Many People Can I Book in one Group?
We do not have a maximum but please call us (307) 399 0236 if there will be more than 4 people.
Who can ride?
We are able to take riders of all experience levels on trail rides with the following exceptions. All riders must be physically able to climb on and off a horse and have some agility and balance. Riders must be at least 8 years old. Riders must weigh less than 250 pounds.
What does Beginner, intermediate, and advanced rider mean?
Beginner Riders: Anyone who has never ridden a horse, has only ridden a few times, or has only been on a horse in very controlled environments.
Intermediate Riders: These riders have moderate experience on horse back in a variety of environments.
Advance Riders: Advance riders are those who ride regularly in their personal lives, and posses strong horsemanship skills.
What should I wear?
Guests are required to wear closed toed shoes, preferably with heels (like a cowboy boot). All riders should arrive with clothing appropriate for the weather, and long pants. Shade hats and sunscreen are a must. Feel free to bring extra layers, or a water bottle, we can attach them to your saddle.
What should I expect when I arrive?
When you arrive our trail guides will fit you with a fully equipped horse that best fits your needs. We provide all the basic equestrian gear that you will need. Please contact us by phone before arriving if there are any other additional questions or accommodations we can help you with.
